Dunmore Cave is located in Ballyfoyle, County Kilkenny, Ireland. It is formed
from limestone laid down over 300 million years ago and reaches a depth of 45
metres. In AD 928, the Cave was the site of a Viking massacre, which has been
extensively written about in the historical annals. The beauty and magic of its
calcite formations
as well as its historical interest make it one of Ireland's most fascinating
caves.
