Terra Cotta Snow | archival pigment on photo rag
Cheltenham Badlands, Caledon, Ontario, Canada
There is a delicate watercolour aspect to this photograph that is a result of the
mixture of falling snow and the terra cotta hued ground. It is the iron oxide
present in the shale that accounts for its reddish colour.
